Daikanbo is a popular scenic viewpoint located on the northern edge of the Aso Caldera. It offers breathtaking panoramic views of the entire caldera, including the five peaks of Aso, the sweeping grasslands and on clear days, even distant mountain ranges. Daikanbo is especially famous for its stunning sunsets and the sea of clouds that sometimes forms below, creating a surreal and picturesque landscape.
