Admire a stunning pink carpet of moss phlox stretching along the Yotsue River near Ubu Shrine.

This breathtaking scene wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated efforts of local residents who care for the flowers year-round.

2.Miyama Kirishima (Kyushu Azalea)(Coming Soon – Mid to Late May)

A rare and beautiful species of azalea, Miyama Kirishima thrives only around the volcanic areas of Kyushu. Its vibrant pinkish-purple blooms paint the mountainsides, creating an ethereal, heavenly landscape—all completely wild and natural.
