Although today is a dreary weekday with spring rain, thanks to the ongoing spring holidays, our store is bustling with customers despite the less-than-ideal weather (#.#)
Amid all this, strawberries have recently begun to be harvested, and using them as the main theme, our shop is offering a seasonal treat, the “Strawberry Milk Parfait,” available at our soft serve station (right in front of the store). What’s special about this parfait is that it uses milk from Abe Ranch, which became the first in Japan to win the prestigious Superior Taste Award from the International Taste Institute, often referred to as the Michelin Guide of the food world. This makes the “Strawberry Milk Parfait” an exclusive, limited-time delicacy!(^^)!

The Superior Taste Award is a certification provided by the International Taste Institute for foods and beverages highly rated by a panel of world-class chefs and sommeliers. Since 2005, the Institute has evaluated thousands of products from over 100 countries. Thanks to its panel of top culinary experts, the Superior Taste Award is widely recognized in the food and beverage industry as one of the most prestigious taste certifications in the world (#.#).
“Taste” itself is a highly complex experience, influenced by various senses such as sight, smell, flavor, texture, and aftertaste. The Superior Taste Award is granted to products that achieve over 70% on an evaluation based on these five criteria, ensuring they are judged to be of exceptionally high quality by professional gastronomes (#.#).
Every year, thousands of products are assessed, but only those of outstanding quality receive certification (_).
⁂ Lastly, it’s important to note that the International Taste Institute—referred to as the “Michelin Guide for Food”—is a different organization from Michelin, which evaluates hotels and restaurants and has a long-established history. I sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by this misunderstanding yesterday.
