Hello from Michi No Eki Aso reception desk!
It’s 6 degrees here today.
Aso calderas with more than 100 kilometers in circumference, 25 kilometers north-south and 18 kilometers east-west surrounding crater basin. Shirakawa river in westside of circumference.
On this river new bridge opened just yesterday! This brand-new bridge is 525 meters length. Construction had started in August 2017. Southern Aso valley is easy access from Kumamoto airport or Kumamoto city now.
I crossed bridge first time this morning.
It was long like road.

This is special express train “Asoboy” with panoramic windows.
Asoboy’s mascot dog “Kurochan” have house in Aso station.
