Hello, this is Batten Arakazu. This morning was also exceptionally cold here at “Michi-no-Eki Aso,” but I hope everyone is staying warm and in good spirits despite the chill.
By the way, we received some wonderful news! In the voting for the “Michi-no-Eki Grand Prix” held from September 13 to October 31, 2024, “Michi-no-Eki Aso” ranked 4th overall in the Kyushu-Okinawa region and proudly took 1st place within Kumamoto Prefecture for the 9th consecutive year. A grand award ceremony was held at Aso City Hall to commemorate this achievement.
As a self-proclaimed “迷 (confused)” photographer rather than a “名 (master)” photographer, I dusted off my old bones and snapped some pictures to capture the occasion. Let me share this report with you!
